This art course tells the stories of artists that shaped the way Western cultures now look at the world, from Cimabue's slight tilt of the head in the 13th century to the rich colors and explosive action of 16th century Baroque artists like Parmigianino. As your child creates and responds to art of the Italian Renaissance, your child will tackle new design challenges with innovation and creative thinking. Your child will be introduced to the discoveries of the period and to new methods for making art, expressing their ideas and observations with new media. Video lessons engage your child's curiosity about the art materials they control edges and blend with pan watercolors, paint frescoes, and use scratch art paper and oil pastels.  18 lessons with projects.
